Clunbury School

On 18th January some of the Y5 & Y6′s went to a Tag Ruby tournament at Bishops Castle Community College. We had lots of fun and came 2nd out of 8 schools.

As you probable know we have been giving attendance certificates out every month to the pupils who have not had one day off in that month, the class with the best attendance shall be able to have the mascot in their class.

We now have our new mascot for the school, it is a squirrel which the whole school decided on, now all we need is a name, any suggestions welcome.

From everyone at Clunbury School we wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

On Tuesday 13th December we are having our annual School Disco at the Village Hall, it shall st start at 5:00pm and finishes at 6:30pm, I hope everyone can attend.

On Monday 12th December we held a Carol Service at Clunbury Church, many people attended and we had lots of fun.

On Friday 4th November we shall be having our Bog Eyed Jog, sponsor forms shall be going home before half term. I can’t wait see Mr.Boddey in a Nightie!!

On Tuesday 18th October we shall be doing apple pressing, don’t forget to bring a bottle!!!

On Tuesday 1st November the Pearl Of Africa band shall be coming to Clunbury School, they are a group of children from Uganda. This will be a great experience for them as well as us.

Parents Evening this term shall be held on Thursday 20th October.
