Ms. Steelman never answered any of his questions. He was the only one who ever asked them so you would of thought that she would have had the time . But maybe Ms. Steelman didn’t know her self . That was something else that sixer sometimes wondered about .
As Ms Steelman walked to the class Sixth of six was staring up at the light and started to daydream. He was dreaming about him becoming a real person and that he could read and write and just then Ms. Steelman called out sixth of six . She said to sixth of six to call out the first five letters of the alphabet .When it was ply time sixth of six ran of to the school library and he tried to read as many books as possible and as many numbers as possible. He was in the library for two hours then Ms. Steelman told Jolee-Ann to go and look for him after Jolee-Ann found him she asked him what he was doing. He told Jolee Ann what he was doing so Jolee Ann helped him with his reading and writing she told sixth oh six about a man called Winston Churchill.
It was a dark and rainy day at Churchill School, but also it was the first day in years that Churchill children were going on a maths investigation trip. “Come on my sugar lumps, the bus is here to take us on our maths investigation trip,” shouted Ms.
Steelman very happily indeed, quickly the batch kids rushed out of the door and grabbed there coats. Well actually if I described it properly they would of grabbed their tiger skinned piece of material and also by the way batches are the strange children in the story.
“If I have to tell you one more time batches, The bus is out side,” shouted Ms. Steelman. The batches rushed out side the school and down the lane to the bus with Ms. Steelman trotting behind by then she was not in a good mood. “All aboard,” shouted the driver. All the batches stumbled up the stairs to get on the bus Stumbling behind was Ms. Steelman when she got on the bus and they had all sat down the journey began, when they arrived they went straight in to a room were someone was.
However when they arrived to Bedstone maths
museum, they walked out of the bus and met the guild at the door as soon as they got there they went straight Was waiting to tell them a story.
After every one had sat down she told them what the story was about, it was about a man called “Winston Churchill he was born in 1874. He was greatly beloved of the British people and became a great statesman and a great war leader, known affectionately as Winnie. At school he was not
particularly bright, but in spite of that-.”
