Clunbury is awarded ACTIVEMARK…

Schools Minister Jim Knight announced — on Wednesday 15 November at the School and Sport Partnerships conference in Telford — the 2006 Activemark, Sportsmark and Sports Partnership mark awards.  These are the first awards of the new marks.

Schools are awarded this if

Activemark

Clunbury received the mark because:

  • the school has 2 hours of PE and Sport;
  • the school held a sports day; and
  • the school had met or bettered the national average for the range of sports it offers or the percentage of pupils participating in sports clubs linked to their school or school sport partnership.

This is a great achievement! No wonder we do so many activitys last term we had gymnastic coaching with caroline and this term we have rugby coaching with Kieran. This is on top of the P.E. that we have with Mr.Davis and Mrs.Spreadborough

It was a reall y big achivement to get this quality mark, and we think the school is really letting us do sports!
