Christ is born
Holly wreaths on doors
Reindeer prints on the roof
Icicles hanging from gutters
Santa’s dirty boot prints by the fire
Tinsel round the tree
Mince pies cooling by the window
A present under the tree for me
Snowman sat in the garden
Dasher and Dancer exhusted after a hard nights work
A Christmas pud ready to be eating
Yule log, NO MORE!

Is Santa Magic ?
Santa how do you do it ?,
As you zoom over the snow,
Like a zip flowing up your coat,
which has its special glow.
Santa how do you do it ?,
As you race over the stars,
Like a spaceship zooming out of space,
And landing on planet Mars.
Santa how do you do it ?,
As you travel through the night,
Like a shadow in my bedroom wardrobe,
Which fills you full of fright.
Santa how do you do it ?,
As you glide over the moon,
Like a bird doing loop the loops,
Which lands on the moon, full of gloom.

December has come,
Shops have put on Christmas things,

Santa
Seeing santa rushing through the air,
T can’t go to sleep, all I want to do is stare.
My Mum and Dad always say, “STOP”,
“NO WAY are you getting up at 2 o’clock”,
Santa’s boots are getting polished.
Snow drips in the box and gets demolished.
But the best way I’ve got is,
Making a snowman on Christmas Day

It was one jolly Christmas,
W hen everyone was asleep,

Surprise I heard a little Angel,
Fluttering out side,
Perhaps he came from the christmas tree,

Dear Clunbury poets
I really enjoyed reading your poems - it reminded me of when we used to make up poems and sing together(we seemed to know hundreds!) Do you remember ‘30 Dirty Birds’
When I looked at your website it reminded me of the fantastic time I had there and how lovely you all were (on most days!) I remember that most of you were very good talkers and that’s probably why you are very good poets! It was great to see your names - it made me feel all tingly.
